Mya has become a proud future Vandal, and was thrilled to hear of the homecoming win against New Mexico State yesterday! She got to sport her garb today- thanks to Grandma & Grandpa for being such good Mya boosters!
We have survived our first two weeks of going back to work. I think it's been easier on Mya than it has on me! We are thankful for Grandma & Andrea to help us out watching her, it's sure a treat to come home in the evenings now! Our time together is now very limited, so we're trying to enjoy all that we can! This week we're looking forward to a visit from Aunt Suz & Uncle Jake who have just given Mya some great news about her new cousin- it's a boy! They'll be coming over to cheer on our Seahawks at Qwest Field next Sunday, and to see Mya's debut Halloween costume. It has yet to be unveiled to the public. It's pretty darn cute, I'm having a hard time not posting pictures yet! It's so fun to have my own little live doll for dressing up!
Even though I grew up on the farm, Mom didn't like tomatoes, so when it came time for me to plant them this year, I wasn't as educated as I should have been! However, below is an example of my final harvest of the tomato plants this year- I've learned a lot! There were a lot of green ones, but a majority of them have ripened up after sitting in the garage for a couple of weeks. In case you don't know, the plants get really big!!! I planted about 8 too many in my small garden space, so it was quite the jungle of tomato growth.
We hope your harvest time is enjoyable- stay warm!
