ALOHA!
We are enjoying a wonderful time in Hawaii. Mya really likes pool time and long walks in the stroller. Today she started to really enjoy playing in the sand too! She's been a lot of fun to be with on our vacation. Rob's friend, Jarrod and former Pacific team/room mate lives on the island and has connected with us a few times to hang out. We've had the opportunity to drive up both the west and east sides of the island, tomorrow- the north shore. We are so thankful to have this family time together! It's amazing how many comments miss Mya brings with all passers-by. I can't count the number of people who have mentioned how cute she is! It's always nice to hear!
Mya's first time to touch sand, a bit hesitant at first, but is now very interested in it!

Welcome Home Ken Griffey Jr! We had a great day at the ball park today! Sunshine, the day off, a win and family time together made for a wonderful day out. Mya was a champ, she was very interested in all that went on, the fireworks didn't even scare her! It's amazing how many people talk with us now that we have a little one with us, babies tend to break a lot of social barriers. It was a lot of fun to have her with us. She even slept for about 40 mins, between Griffey at-bats when the crowd went wild. The M's brought home a win for their home opener in 10 innings of play. I got a little video of the starting line-up, I'm not a professional, but it was fun to be at Safeco for the homecoming game of Ken Griffey Jr!

Happy Easter!
Despite the crummy weather, we had a wonderful Easter Sunday! The day started off with Mya finding her basket left by the Easter bunny, she mostly likes the plastic eggs, luckily this year Mom & Dad still get the candy! We then went to church, in our new building (hooray!!!). The furnishings were in and it was all clean from the construction dust, it was beautiful! We had a wonderful service, about 500 people joined in the celebration. Rob's family joined us for church and then went to Anthony's in Edmonds for brunch afterward. It was nice to have someone else do the cooking for the day! Even though it was rainy and foggy, we enjoyed time together with the view of the sound from our table. We are so thankful for everything we've been blessed with. God is good!
Grandma & Grandpa brought Mya a giant stuffed Easter bunny... She sure likes it!
Checking out what the Easter Bunny left her...

Worship in our new sanctuary-it sounded so good! Lighting too, after a gymnasium for 4 years this was a real treat! What a special place to get to celebrate Jesus' resurrection!

Palm Sunday Walk
We had a big day last Sunday, celebrating our church's relocation, we walked 6.2 miles to our new campus. We were blessed with an incredible day, it couldn't have been better weather! It was about 74 degrees, Mya was a champ, strolling the whole way. Once we got to our new building, we had dinner and got to hang out with friends and saw the last few finishing touches being worked on to finish the building project.

SUNSHINE!!! We had a wonderful Saturday together at home, and what a beautiful day for it! We haven't had this much sunshine in awhile, so we took advantage- I worked in the yard and Rob worked on our cars today. Mya got to enjoy the taste of grass for the first time, she had a great time being outside too! Tomorrow our church is officially moving to our new campus- hooray! It's been a long 4 year process, but we're very excited to finally be in our new facility. To commemorate the event, we're walking from our previous location the the new building, 6 miles north. I helped organize the t-shirts for all of the participants, Mya got to try hers a little early. Luckily there is a lot of growing room for her! We didn't even pose her for this picture, but she obviously likes her shirt! Now that Mya has got the rolling-over thing down, things aren't as easy for us, including putting her down for her nap. It's time for us to drop her mattress... we've almost got a mobile one on our hands!
