Capitol City 1/2 Marathon
Since we hit age 30, we decided to do something to benefit ourselves physically! We've been training for about 3.5 months and the big day finally came! Yesterday we participated in our first 1/2 Marathon (13.1 miles) in Olympia, Washington. It was a cool, rainy day, but had a beautiful course to run. We all finished close to the times we were expecting, so overall we were happy with the results despite the sore muscles today! Rob's brother Steve & his friend Steve also ran with us- it was good to have familiar faces around!
Construction Day 10 (Only 44 left!)
Our house is still progressing to schedule... the most recent update is that we have almost all of the windows installed. We should have shingles on the roof, plumming, heating and the tyvec wrapping done by Friday. Now that the structure is up the visual changes aren't as dramatic- my daily pictures aren't going to be as interesting pretty soon!
