Our Third Anniversary was this week, we celebrated by none other than a Mariner's Game! My wonderful co-workers planned a surprise "Happy Anniversary" message on the reader board! Unfortunately we didn't win, but had a great time with friends an my incredible husband! We also had a delicious crab dinner at home to commemorate our three years together. Check out the size of those legs! Last weekend we hosted an open house and had so many wonderful friends come visit! We are so incredibly blessed! Here are a few pictures of our wonderful day. Aunt Betty from New Zealand came to visit us earlier this month. We had a great time hosting her in the Seattle area! One of her highlights, was a great time at the horse races. At age 87 she won at more money than Rob! We also had a nice time visiting with her 2nd cousin from Canada at lunch in LaConner. It was a wonderful visit, meeting her extended family. We were sad to see her go, but enjoyed her time here!

There's No Place Like Home!

We are officially homeowners! After a big weekend of moving, we are very close to being completely un-boxed! With help from wonderful family members and friends, we had a very smooth move. We've already had a couple of very cute little visitors who think our house is pretty fun too!

House Walk-Thru

Today we got to walk thru our house- it's turning out great! We were surprised to have the landscaping done today- it makes it look so complete! They'll be cleaning the house and unveiling our hardwoods & flooring (that is currently covered in cardboard to avoid scratching) in the next day or two and placing all of the finishing touches on our new home. We can't wait to move! Anyone need something to do next Friday??? :)

Summer in Seattle

The bluest skys you've ever seen are in Seattle! We have been enjoying beautiful sunny weather here in the Pacific Northwest. Can you belive we're already 1/2 way through the month of July? We move into our house in 11 days! We are so excited. When asked my favorite part of our house... three things come to mind. 1. A garage- I've never had one! 2. QUIET, NEW APPLIANCES! 3. Our kitchen sink! Cheesy, but pretty fun to be excited for such a wonderful place God has blessed us with. Pardon the pictures... we've been sneaking on our property and taking pictures through the dirty windows. We get to walk thru the house on Wednesday, but have been too anxious to wait! My sister Suz & Jake her husband came to visit us this weekend- we had a great time hanging in the city. Between walking on the beach, traveling to the top of the Space Needle and seeing a Mariner's game, we had a great time. We had the pleasure of singing Happy Birthday to Jake- even though it was a day early!!! Last weekend we went to Rob's cousins' wedding in Portland. Congrats to Peter & Karen!
