Palouse River Duathlon
My little brother told me less than 6 months ago that he wanted to coordinate a duathlon. I seriously thought he was nuts, and he wouldn't be able to pull it off in such a short time, but much to my dismay- he did it, with flying colors! From race numbers to street closures to a spaghetti lunch after the race- all bases were well covered, and will likely be the first of many in the future! Many kudos to a well coordinated event little brother!!! The race was a 2 mile run, 10 mile bike, then another 2 mile run. Rob participated, and did a fantastic job! He came in 10th overall- his first multi sport race! My sister, Angela also signed up with a team mate. She did the running legs, and her team-mate did the bike. They both did great, and seemed to have a good time as well! Mya & I had fun sticking to the start/finish line and cheering on participants. It was an added bonus for all of her cousins to be there as well... she always has a blast playing with them!

Great photos! Mya's hair looks blonde in the kids' race photo. What a fun idea. Was it Saturday? Rob, would you consider doing the STP? I love your #1 cheerleader!

Oh man! I totally want to do this! I'm training for a triathalon but am realizing I love the biking the most and the swimming the least. SO... next one, I'm in! Post on FB so I know!!!!
