We are enjoying every change with our little miss. She is such a sweet little person! A total social bug, willing to go with the flow most of the time. She really likes to read books and play with her toys while sitting up (very important). She's learning to shake her head "no" and now that we're over being sick, she's really starting to eat a lot more, enjoying all the mushed up food we provide. We are learning that with both of us working full time, we don't have enough with her! Our personal time has become very valuable. Today I got her a "treat" at the grocery store, plastic Easter Eggs to play with. She played with them for hours- they were prefect new toy! As you can see, her pants are often too short... she's a tall girl (where'd she get that???), our last check up found that she is 95% in height & 80% in weight for her age. Thank you to those of you who have been praying for her heart murmur. We got some great news last week. We don't have to go back to the Cardiologist for THREE MONTHS!!! They took her off her medicine and we are thrilled to be able to minimize the visits to Children's Hospital. Since she was born, we've been going to appointments every 2-6 weeks. A three month break is very much appreciated by all! The hole in her heart isn't growing, but her little heart is! So, she could still grow out of it, and as she gets bigger, the less it will be a problem for her. Mya wanted to tell her cousin, Allison thank you for the great sun glasses... they finally fit her little face and I'm sure they'll come in handy soon!

A fun weekend in Idaho...
We enjoyed a short visit to Idaho for my sister Suzanne's baby shower. I'm so glad it's her, this time and not me! She got some great things. Mya enjoyed spending time with her cousins too. While we were there, we got to take in a delicious crab feed, see many friends and family, and Mya got to eat her carrots in the high chair I grew up in. This week has been tough on our little one, she's got a nasty cold that has included a fever and so much congestion it's pretty tough for her to breathe. I just got it myself, and I feel so bad for her- it's zapped my energy for sure! We kept her home from daycare three days this week to help her get over it. I hope it's over soon, she's so tired of us wiping her little nose. We get to enjoy a three day weekend after a long week at work. REI had some layoffs... the economy is touching all of us. I'm so thankful that I still have a job, but I have a close friend who was let go. My prayers are with the many families that are losing jobs right now! I also included a photo of Mya and Taylin, a Sunday School friend, they're 2 weeks apart. It's pretty cute to see them together. Mya also really loves time with her Daddy... they kind of like eachother!
